Alison is the London Managing Partner at Irwin Mitchell LLP and former Head of the Medical Negligence team in London. For many years she acted for adults and children who suffered neurological injury, caused because of clinical negligence.

In 2024 Alison was awarded the Legal 500 ESG Lifetime Achievement Award - Women in Law which recognised her commitment to improving gender equality in the legal profession.

Irwin Mitchell are long term supporters of Meningitis Now (dating back to 1998) and have supported our Free Wills initiative to encourage more people to leave a gift to Meningitis Now in their will.  They are also a Brighter Futures Partner.
