Sam Blackie is an experienced Human Resources Director, with a specific focus on developing and implementing the strategic people agenda, leading complex change and working with a broad range of stakeholders.

Although currently taking a break from corporate life to complete a Masters degree in Business Psychology, Sam has over 26 years' cross-sector experience working in a number of retail and financial services organisations. In addition to her Human Resources experience, Sam has also lead Internal Communication teams, overseen the Group Legal and Company Secretary function and is an experienced Pension Trustee.

Originally from Essex, Sam and her family now live near Chepstow. When not studying or working she spends most of her time watching her daughter play sport or walking their dog in the Forest of Dean.
