August 2015.

A brief overview of your role – what are you responsible for?

I share my job with my colleague Megan and together we manage a small team of four fundraisers, supporting our Individual Giving, Events and Community Fundraising activities.

Your favourite part of your role

Getting to know our participants in the run up to an event and finally getting the opportunity to meet them and their families on event day. I love seeing the positive impact our events have on people’s lives and the life long memories our events create. It’s wonderful to see people achieve personal goals for a cause close to their hearts.

Your biggest achievements

I have travelled quite a bit to some faraway places, on my own.

Professionally, I recently obtained a Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing, which took a lot of hard work, but I am chuffed to qualify with a distinction.
