We are delighted that the team at Hoburne, Devon Bay, have chosen us as their charity of the charity of the year, after we were nominated by a staff member following their personal experience of meningitis.
We are excited to be working closely with the team this year, to deliver a range of fundraising activities for their staff and customers to get involved in.
Since January 2023, their incredible team have raised over £10,000 in support of Meningitis Now’s life changing support services. As well as a successful charity day in May, including activities such as an inflatable obstacle course, a tombola, book sale and pottery painting, the team hosted a ‘Party in the Park event’ in August, a sports day in September, and staff member, Chris, took part in a daring sky dive, which raised £500.
We are so grateful for Hoburne’s continued support and can’t wait to see what else they get up to this year!
