Individual Giving Officer, Ellie Griffiths-Edwards was one of the judges of the competition. She shared,
“We had so many wonderful designs sent in for our Christmas card design competition this year. It was really hard to choose the winner, but we adored the cheeky reindeer that Lani created. We thought that it was a wonderful design and loved the addition of our logo as the reindeer’s nose.
“Lani is very talented, and we’re so delighted to be able to share her design with everyone. Thank you to Lani, her family and everyone else who took the time to enter the competition this year.”
Lani had bacterial meningitis and was admitted to hospital on Christmas Day in 2022. Her family shared, “Although she had to spend a lot of time in hospital and find a way to deal with many challenges and setbacks, she has been able to make an amazing recovery by using her own strengths and determination, as well as the support of others.”
“She hopes that any funds raised through her Christmas card design can help to support other children and families impacted by meningitis.”
