Turtle Tots teaches vital lifesavings skills, builds water confidence and creates special, fun-filled memories for babies and toddlers. Throughout the month of October, members of this award-winning baby, toddler and preschool swim school will once again be taking part in Splash Now – a week of sponsored water-based activities to raise vital funds for Meningitis Now.
The creation of Splash Now was inspired following the death of baby Clara, who tragically lost her battle with meningitis at just 10 months old.
This will be the fourth year that Turtle Tots have supported Meningitis Now in honour of baby Clara, through this much-loved annual event. To date, their brilliant team have raised an incredible £86,772.56, including Gift Aid.
Fiona Vittery from Turtle Tots, who was last year’s top fundraising franchise, told us:
“As a business owner it’s always been important to me to give back to the community where possible. Splash Now is an amazing opportunity to do this, by raising awareness for Meningitis Now and raising lots of money."
"We had an amazing time in the pool last year for our sponsored swims and it was wonderful to see so many families getting involved and fundraising for the charity. It’s a great opportunity to add a new element to the weekly lessons and do something good at the same time. Meningitis Now is such a great charity to work with.”
