Lisa cooking up a fundraising treat

Our wonderful President, television presenter and fashion model Lisa Snowdon, has joined forces with top chef Jack Stein for a tasty fundraising treat.

Lisa, who was crowned the winner of Celebrity MasterChef two years ago, will be cooking up a Seafood Odyssey at Rick Stein Sandbanks in Dorset on Thursday 28 November.

On the menu will be a delicious range of delectable seafood, including salted anchovies with sourdough; fresh tuna crudo with ricotta and lemon stuffed courgette flower; crispy tempura prawns and wasabi peas; and a showstopping crab linguine with brown Cornish crab meat, all bookended by a welcome cocktail (Lisa’s choice of Margarita or Jack’s of Negroni) and a decadent dessert, chocolate pavê with Cornish clotted cream.

Celebrate Britain’s glorious seafood

Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Poole Harbour, chef director and seafood virtuoso Jack has worked alongside culinary enthusiast Lisa to craft the six-course feast to celebrate Britain’s glorious seafood.

But the tastiest morsel is that the event will be raising money to support our ongoing work. Lisa has supported us since contracting meningitis in 2010, helping to spread valuable awareness of the signs and symptoms of the disease. We’ll share £10 from each ticket with One Feeds Two, a non-profit charity donating meals to children living in poverty supported by Rick Stein.

Exclusive wine pairing

Rick Stein Restaurants’ Director & Head of Wine, Charlie Stein, has also created an exclusive wine pairing to perfectly complement each dish, available as an optional add-on.

This is the second event in the Seafood Odyssey Series which sees Jack welcome leading chefs and foodie friends to Rick Stein restaurants across London and the south to celebrate a shared love of fish and shellfish.

Jack Stein said: “Lisa and I met back in lockdown, and it was great to watch her win the title of Celebrity MasterChef.
