Well done to our courageous supporters who took part in a Firewalk, proving their inner strength by walking across a bed of hot embers. Their bravery has raised £10,920 so far for Meningitis Now, which will allow us to continue providing vital support to those affected by meningitis, as well as funding research and raising awareness.
On the night, participants received empowering training from experienced Firewalk instructors. The energy was extremely supportive as participants were enthusiastically encouraged from the sidelines.
Meningitis Now CEO Tom Nutt even took a stride across the hot coals:
“It was wonderful to take part alongside thirty brave firewalkers. It was such a great, energetic atmosphere and a huge well done to everyone who took part. The enthusiasm on the night was incredible and it was a great success, providing us with funds that will go towards helping people impacted by meningitis.”
We would like to say a huge thank you to Community Ambassador Angela Cloke for organising this incredible event.
