A fond farewell

7th December 2024

Our Director of Information and Support, Beverley Corbett, is leaving us after seven years of helping our fight to defeat meningitis and provide support to those impacted by the disease. While Bev is stepping away from her role she will always remain a huge supporter of Meningitis Now and the work we do. She shares a heartfelt goodbye here.

Bev

As I prepare to step away from my role as Director of Information and Support at the end of the month, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey I have had over the last seven years.

It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside such a passionate and dedicated community. I am going to miss so many things about the charity and everyone who is connected to it, including working with an amazing bunch of colleagues and delivering services that continue to touch the lives of individuals and families. I am proud of all that we have achieved and will take away so many good memories.

I have a deep appreciation for the values that define Meningitis Now, and I leave confident that the charity will continue to grow and transform the lives of people who have been impacted by this devastating disease. I am stepping away from my role, but I will remain a supporter of the charity and look forward to seeing the impact we will undoubtedly continue to make.

Thank you for inspiring me, challenging me, and reminding me daily of the good that can come when people unite to support a charity like ours. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Meningitis Now.

With heartfelt thanks

Bev
